Water Slide!

Activity Seven

Introduction

What can we as engineers make with everyday materials?

Let’s create a fun water slide for a Lego Mini-Figure!

By the end of this activity, and some parental assistance, you will have a fun activity for even the smallest figures in your collection!

Activity

In this activity, you will construct a basic water slide with household materials.  Once your slide is built, place it in the sink or container that can hold water and see if your slide can hold water.  Take a cup of water and pour it at the top of your slide and see where the water travels.

Experiment by making different lengths and shaped slides where the water can travel a longer distance.

What other materials can you use to make a water slide? Can it hold water?
