Join Us For This Fun Halloween Event!
Test your engineering skills using CANDY! Join Girl Scouts and Extreme STEAM Science Kids in this family event as we dive into the design process and complete a fun challenge. In this Halloween themed activity, girls and their siblings will be able to build with their hands while working towards meeting an objective. Some of the materials will be able to be eaten, YUM! Watch a live demonstration of the 3D Virtual Robotic Simulator offered by ESSK that will give you some insight into one of the amazing Girl Scouts programs being offered!
This FREE event is Pre K-6th grade focused but all grades are welcome. Girls ages 6-13, stay tuned — we will be raffling off a free robotics course to nonmembers.
Parents/Caregivers — this activity is for you too! Get more information on how to get started with Girl Scouts in the last 10 mins. of the event.
Materials Needed:
- Reliable Wifi
- Zoom Access – Laptop/Computer/Smartphone/etc.
- Candy Corn Pumpkins or pumpkin marshmallows or regular small marshmallows
- Toothpicks
- Ruler/Measuring Tape
- One Sheet of Paper and a Pencil
